40 operators are in different stages of VoLTE (Voice over LTE) deployment worldwide.
Six operators have launched VoLTE (voice over LTE) worldwide across Azerbaijan, Germany, South Korea, Hong Kong and US. Operators who have launched VoLTE include: Azercell, O2, KT, LG U+, SK Telecom, CSL Soft and Evolve Broadband.
23 operators are in the process of deploying VoLTE whereas seven operators are trialling VoLTE in different categories. In India both Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio are trialling VoLTE in respective circles.
The first wave of VoLTE service launches that include support for HD voice (using W-AMR) has begun.
